AGLIO OLIO WITH PRAWNS

A traditional Italian pasta dish from Naples with olive oil. An easy-to-prep meal served in no time.

Servings: 2 Plates

  • Water

  • 200g spaghetti made with Alchemy Fibre™

  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

  • 2-4 cloves garlic (minced)

  • 16-18 tiger prawns (deshelled)

  • 1⁄2 teaspoon red pepper flakes

  • 1⁄2 teaspoon salt to taste

  • 1 tablespoon Italian parsley (chopped)

  • 3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese (grated)

  • Cook spaghetti according to the instructions on the package. Drain the noodles and set aside 3 tablespoons of the pasta water

  • Saute garlic with olive oil in a skillet until aromatic

  • Add the prawns, red pepper flakes and salt into the
    skillet and cook prawns sufficiently

  • Add the cooked noodles and reserved pasta water into the skillet, stir to combine well with prawns

  • Add in the chopped parsley and stir to combine well with noodles

  • Remove noodles from skillet and transfer noodles onto a plate. Top noodles with parmesan cheese and serve

  • Drizzle with extra oilive oil if preferred
