SPAGHETTI CARBONARA

Smooth, creamy comfort food with bacon. It’s hard to resist!

  • 350g Spaghetti made with Alchemy Fibre™

  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

  • 1 cloves garlic (minced)

  • 8 slices of bacon (diced

  • ½ cup of parmesan cheese (grated)

  • 3 eggs

  • Salt to taste

  • Black pepper to taste

  • Cook spaghetti according to the instructions on the package. Drain the noodles, toss noodles with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and set aside

  •  

  • Beat the 3 eggs in a bowl and season lightly with salt and black pepper

  • Pan-fry diced bacon over medium heat until bacon crisps and remove bacon from pan

  • Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil to the same frying pan, saute minced garlic until fragrant over low heat

  • Add the bacon and cooked noodles back to the pan. Toss noodles to coat evenly with oil and garlic

  • Add beaten eggs into the pan and turn off the heat. Quickly toss noodles until eggs are barely set

  • Add in parmesan cheese and toss noodles until well combined

  • Remove noodles from the pan and transfer to a plate. Top noodles with additional grated parmesan cheese as desired and serve
